Like typical systems, IdealHumidity adds moisture to the air during heating operation with the help of a humidifier. Carrier's Thermidistat Control adjusts humidity levels automatically to help prevent condensation on windows and doors.
Unlike typical systems, IdealHumidity adds moisture even when there is no need for heat. When humidity is low, the Thermidistat Control activates the humidifier and the system's blower for humidification without heating.
During cooling operation, all systems will dehumidify. To maintain the most comfortable level of humidity, IdealHumidity can automatically decrease fan speed for longer dehumidification cycles, or increase fan speed for the best cooling performance.
