Carrier's FX4 fan coil is designed to improve the performance and efficiency of your indoor comfort system while preserving the environment with a chlorine-free refrigerant. Carrier has been designing, testing and marketing air conditioners, heat pumps and fan coils, such as the FX4, that use Puron®, an environmentally sound refrigerant. Carrier's leadership enables you to enjoy the comfort and efficiency of future technology today, and for many years to follow.

The FX4 fan coil enhances the efficiency of your indoor comfort system in two ways. First, Puron refrigerant is more efficient than traditional refrigerants. Second, the FX4 features a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) which measures refrigerant usage to provide precision heating control during the winter season. As a result, you can enjoy year-round control over the cost of your indoor comfort.

Carrier's advanced technology is combined with proven components to provide superior performance and reliability. The enhanced drain pan and foil-faced insulation inhibit mold, mildew and bacterial growth for improved indoor air quality. The electronic control board reliably enhances system operation for your comfort and convenience. Each component of the FX4 is designed to maximize the performance of your indoor comfort system. Ask your local Carrier dealer how you can customize your system for added comfort, efficiency and environmental sensitivity.

Always look for these symbols, the air conditioning and heat pump industry seals of certified performance, efficiency and capacity.
