To use this table:
1. Determine the AFUE/SEER of your current system.
2. From the map determine the zone you live in, enter the
table and cross reference your zone with the AFUE/SEER of
your current system to determine your approximate annual
heating/cooling costs.
3. Compare your annual heating/cooling cost to that of a new
system with a higher AFUE/SEER.
4. The difference of these two numbers is your estimated
annual cost savings.
5. Heating and cooling costs include cycled fan operation.
Fan costs are for fans set in ON position to run
continuously. Subtract fan cost from total cost if unit is
not set up to run continuously.
